Wednesday 22 Jan 2014

We've decided that today is going to be a chill-out day, so while the rest of the group took a bus into Tisnit, we took it easy, sitting in the sun and also catching up on some paperwork. Fending off the local dogs and cats too!

A week into Morocco, we’re finally becoming acclimatised and thoroughly enjoying the experience. Certainly the area we’re in now is more like what we were expecting although the weather is a bit disappointing.

The group came back late afternoon and what is becoming a habit developed – “beer-o-clock”! But then as it got dark, would you believe that it started raining again; not heavy but persistent so the “party” broke up.

We’re now thinking about our immediate plans: we’re more than ready to stop for 4/5 days and had thought to head back north. The group is looking to travel further south still, albeit only as far as Sidi Ifni which is about an hour away but we detect others are feeling the same as us. Starting to build up a camaraderie, we’re reluctant to leave so for the moment we’ll tag along and as the planned destination is a full site, close to the town, we’ll go as far as there and see what transpires.
